Meet Ari

Licensed Master Social Worker

Ari Skelcher is a master's level social worker who believes that therapy is most effective when clients feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood. She strives to create a welcoming, judgment-free space where clients can be themselves, explore life's challenges, and build the tools and confidence to navigate them. Ari values meeting each person where they are and believes that healing looks different for everyone.

Ari specializes in working with anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and OCD. She has primarily worked with children and adolescents but enjoys supporting individuals across the lifespan. Her approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to each client's unique needs. She incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), art-based therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed techniques to help clients better understand themselves, develop healthy coping skills, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.

Outside of the therapy room, Ari is a member of an adult dance company, where she trains in a variety of styles including contemporary, jazz, and musical theater. When she's not dancing, you can usually find her by the ocean, curled up with a good book, or spending time at home with her cats and bird.
